James D.“Jim” Wilson, 71, went to be with the Lord, September 12, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Born on September 17, 1949 in Johnstown, son of Harry DeVon and Edith (Pudliner) Wilson.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Gale Reighard, Nedra Neiderlander, Linda Gibson, and Lori Wilson. Survived by loving wife Mary Ann (Godish); sons; Gregory married to Shanan (Cavanaugh), Matthew married to Julie (Halloran), and David married to Kem (Leonard); grandchildren Maddie, Megan, Makenzie, Logan, Jack, Levi, Max, and Derek; brother Stephen married to Diane (Petrosky); sister Kimberly Miller (Wayne/deceased). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Jim was a 1967 graduate of Conemaugh Franklin High School. He was formerly employed at Bethlehem Steel and retired as a Supervisor from Cambria County Courthouse. He was also a self-employed tax consultant and an Enrolled Agent for the IRS. Jim loved spending time with family & friends; was an avid Penn State fan; enjoyed oldies music; classic muscle cars; and bicycling.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be sadly missed.
Friends received from 3-7 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Clement Church, Fr. William Rosenbaum. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery.
