Jane Ann Jones

Jane Ann Jones, 94, of Johnstown, died June 30, 2024, at The Villa Personal Care Home. Jane moved to Perth Amboy NJ where she resided with her 4 children until approximately 2019.

Born on March 5, 1930, in Williamsburg, PA, daughter of Paul and Frances (Donio) Sottile.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Anthony Stanley Rabitz, daughter Kathleen Marie Ostek, and granddaughter Janie Marie Ostek.

Survived by daughter Barbara A. Fortunato (Robert), son Stanley Walter Rabitz (Denise Mandia), and Daughter-In-Law Jo Ann Rabitz; Grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Nicole, and Ryan Rabitz; Great-Grandchildren, Ariel, Caiden and Karli Ann, Kayla and Sid, Dalia and Taylor, all of whom she loved very much; Sister Pauline Molchany; Special nephew Frank Costa; Caregiver/Niece Pauline Springer; and many more nieces and nephews. 

Jane was a former Telephone Operator/Supervisor at New Jersey Bell Telephone Company in Perth Amboy NJ for 23 years. She loved to play bingo, cook, and bake for her friends and family. She was a loving mother who adored her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Friends received from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, WESTMONT Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Visitation B.V.M. Fr. John Slovikovski. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
