John R. Beasley

John R. Beasley, 60, of Johnstown, formerly of York, Pennsylvania passed away at home February 11, 2025. He was born March 14, 1964 in York, the son of Benjamin Beasley and Edna (Seymour) Beasley. 

Preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: Benny, Darlene, Gynette, Margaret, and James.

Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sylvia (Hoover); his sons, Jonathan and David; his step son, Mathew Shoff; his grandchildren: Lydia, Kaydence, Riley, Trenton, and Nathan; and his sister Betty Alfano.

John graduated 1983 from York Vo-tech. He served in the Army from 1983 to 1986. He started his company, Emergency Rooter Plumbing in 1992 before retiring in 1999.

A Celebration of his life in Johnstown will be held 1:00 PM,  March 1, 2025 at Berkey Church, 1038 Church Drive, Windber, PA 15963.

In addition, on March 15, 2025  at 1:00 PM, there will be a Celebration of his life in York at Pathway Community Church, 1731 W Philadelphia Street, York, PA 17404.  Andrew Greer officiating the service.
