John M. Polenik

John M. Polenik, 73, of Westmont, died on June 20, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 30, 1945 in Alverda, PA, son of the late John J. and Christine (Mayak) Polenik.

Survived by loving and devoted wife of 46 years Theresa Anne (Rubus), children John M. Jr; Anita A.; Christopher G.; Veronica A.; and William J., married to Angela; grandchildren Chloe, Aden, Annabelle, Mason, and Ariella; sisters Christine Frost and Patricia Dashkovitz. Also sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

John was a graduate of Penns Manor High School and West Virginia University. He was a former superintendent at North American Coal Company. John was a successful business owner for 39 years.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 24th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1799 Cameron Bottom Rd., Penn Run, PA 15765. Rev. Bernard Karmonocky, O.F.M. Interment at St. Patrick Church Cemetery.
