Joseph J. Dziki, 87, Westmont, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Born November 3, 1934, in Peckville, PA, son of Joseph and Josephine Dziki. Preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Beverly; in-laws, Frank and Eileen Ruff; brother in-law Rocco DiPietro; and sister in-law, Virginia Dziki.
Survived by his brother Thomas Dziki; his sister Rosanne, married to Douglas Jackson and his sister Carol DiPietro; loving nieces and nephews of whom he shared a faith filled bond with Stephanie J. Grumbein and David A. DiPietro; his committed friend and neighbor, Jeff Green; his sister-in-law Dennice, married to Robert Hayes.
Joe graduated from Blakely High School, and moved to Johnstown, PA to further his education. After meeting his loving wife, Beverly, he remained in Johnstown and was married for 46 years, until her passing in 2010.
Joe worked for PA Department of Revenue for over 30 years, succeeding as a PA Revenue Investigator using his gift of attention to detail and his ability to maintain effective, working relationships with every person he met.
As Joe and Bev made their way through life, Joe was able to share his talent of music and percussion, playing in bands and thriving as a drummer. They owned a successful bookstore, keeping his love and faith at the forefront. Joe was kind to everyone he met and cared for his beloved family of cats, Amy, Ada, Ana, Angel and Arthur.
Joe will be missed by all the people he has touched through his life with kindness and compassion. His love of animals was shown to his cats, the neighboring groundhogs, squirrels and crows. He will be most remembered for always sharing a laugh, an unexpected card, and meaningful quotes. He would ask us all to accept, adjust and adapt. Most importantly he would remind us to keep the peace, and to ALWAYS keep the faith.
