Joseph E. Varmecky

Joseph E. Varmecky, 71, of Johnstown, died on June 28, 2022. Born on June 19, 1951 in Johnstown, son of Stephen and Mildred (Gyurkovies) Varmecky.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother Stephen.

Survived by brother Thomas and many kind neighbors and friends in the community, who have supported him through the years.

Joseph was a talented woodworker and had a determined spirit. He could often be spotted walking downtown and in Upper Yoder with his duffle bag in tow.
