Judith A. Fornwalt

Judith A. Fornwalt, 81, of Westmont, died on June 16, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 8, 1942 in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Anna (Bolha) Foltin. 

Preceded in death by her parents, husband William P. Fornwalt Jr., son William P. Fornwalt III, and brother-in-law William Patterson. 

Survived by children Michael, David, and Jennifer (Craig Rosage), 3 grandchildren, Alysa Mintzer, Meredith and John Fornwalt, 4 great-grandchildren, Jude, Jack, Jet, and Rayah, and sisters Charlotte Patterson and Elaine Pazin (George). 

Judy was a graduate of Franklin High School and from Conemaugh School of Nursing, where she received her R.N. Degree. 

She was a loving wife,  mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed. 

Judy was a longtime member of OMOS, where friends and family will be received from 10-11 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024 with Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Very Rev. Mark Begly. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to OMOS, Dr.Zajdel and Staff, Dr. Gadde and Staff, Conemaugh ER Staff, Conemaugh 10th Floor Palliative Care, and to the Ascera Care Hospice Staff Steve, Courtney, Alli, Stephanie, and Melissa, for all your care and compassion for mom.
