Julie M. (Burgo) Maser

Julie M. (Burgo) Maser, 66, of Johnstown, went to be home with the Lord on December 16, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 6, 1957 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Sara (Diehl) Burgo.

Survived by her devoted husband of 45 years James Maser; their two loving children Megan Maser and Justin Maser and his wife Teira (Cramer); her 3 loving grandchildren Mehki Barber, Tatiana and Jiovani Maser.

Also survived by her loving sister Sue (Burgo) Williams and her husband Dave, her brothers Mike Burgo and his wife Terri (King), and Mark Burgo. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Julie was a 1975 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School, where she was a cheerleader and band member. She graduated in 1979 from Indiana University of PA. She spent the majority of her career in banking at various local banks helping others become homeowners.

She spent over 20 years as a closing specialist at Messina Law Office.

Julie did everything for her family and never missed a single sporting event, concert, play, etc. She loved arts and crafts, was an avid scrapbooker, and always had a camera in her hands. She was a huge Harry Potter fan.

Most importantly she loved doing crafts and building Legos with her grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Friends and family will meet for a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Very Rev. Mark Begly. Private Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery.
