Justine Cornell Obituary

Justine Cornell, 89, of Westmont, passed away peacefully October 24, 2024 in Johnstown PA.. Born January 14, 1935 in Johnstown,  daughter of Frank and Isabella Mary (Nanna) Ciccone.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Sheldon L., brothers Roland and Henry Ciccone and sisters Rita Ciccone and Mary Louise Raijter.

Survived by loving children Rebecca married to Manning "Jim" O'Connor of Pittsburgh, and Dave married to Sue (McDivitt), Grandson Daniel Francis and fiancee Alexis Hengelsberg, great- grandson Manning J. O'Connor III, great-granddaughter Stella Rae, nieces and nephews.

Justine received her R.N. diploma from Braddock General Hospital, and her C.R.N.A. diploma from Lee Hospital School of Anesthesia, and was employed at the U.P.M.C. Lee Regional, Windber Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland MD.

She retired as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with nearly 60 years of nursing service dedicated to excellent patient care. Justine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Friends received 10 AM to 12 Noon Tuesday October 29, 2024, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown,PA.

Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Fr Anthony F. Spilka. Entombment Grandview Mausoleum.
