Louis John Oliveros

Louis John Oliveros, 93, of Johnstown, died on April 4, 2024. Born on February 12, 1931 in Johnstown, son of Federico and Josephine (Alanis) Oliveros.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa Oliveros, siblings Virginia (William) Ramos, Mary Lou (Michael) Mikolaj, infant siblings John, Helen, and Ramon,  brother-in-law Henry Lepter, and former wife Betty Lou (Kusch).

Survived by children John Mark "Jack" (Martha) Oliveros, of Houston TX; Michelle (Tim Percell), of Sulphur, LA; and Christopher Oliveros, of Johnstown; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Fred (Barbara) Oliveros, sister Marina Lepter. He was also "Uncle Louie" to 38 nieces and nephews.

Louis was a retired accountant for Sargent Electric. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and watching the Steelers and Pitt.

He was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral where Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024. Fr. Matthew Baum.

Friends received from 4-7 PM on Thursday, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Private family interment at St. Anthony Cemetery.
