Louise "Red" H. Brydon

Louise "Red" H. Brydon, 90, of Johnstown, died on October 1, 2021 at Cambria Care Center.

Born on July 29, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Ora and Lydia (Bays) Satterfield.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert J. Brydon who died in 2001, great-grandson Alex Paskowski, and 10 brothers and sisters, Marie, Rose, Bernice, Dorothy, Kay, Margaret, Robert, Jim, Kenneth, and Orrie.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Louise is survived by her children James "Butchie"; Cookie wife of Don Hornick; Robert "Donald" married to Maria (Grasso); and Melody Ann and her fiancé Eugene Baroni; grandchildren Kristie, Courtney, Melanie, Shannon, Apryll, Michele, Matthew, and Brandon; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Louise worked at the former "Cake Box" and Glosser Brothers. She was also a housekeeper in Westmont Area, and retired from Conemaugh Hospital in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed going to the casino, dancing, and planting flowers in her spare time.

She enjoyed spending time with her beloved friends Gladys Howard and also Marie Carosi, who is in heaven. Louise always wanted to learn how to drive but never did. She traveled to Ohio to see her relatives who she loved deeply and she loved her two dogs, Bullet and Cleo who are in doggie heaven.  She loved her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held for friends and family on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Franklin Street United Methodist at 10:00 AM.
