Mark A. Garman, 65, of Upper Yoder, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 4, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Born on December 9, 1958 in Johnstown, son of Howard and Elizabeth (Abele) Garman.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Raich, brother David Garman, nephew Keith Garman, and father-in-law James Christofes.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife Diane (Christofes), daughters Haley and Allison, grandchildren Jade, Breanna, Casey, and Ava, brother Phil Garman (Kim), sisters Suzanne Kuzemchak (John), Barbara Boyer (Cliff),mother-in-law Patricia Christofes, numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved pet, Cory.
Mark was a graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech and retired from Kennametal Technologies after 45 years. He loved to golf, fish, and was an avid Steelers and Penguins Fan. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends received from 4-7 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Brownstown. Very Rev. Mark Begly. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
