Mark Edward Tisinger Sr.

Mark Edward Tisinger Sr., 69, of Johnstown, died on September 28, 2023. Born on April 28, 1954 in Johnstown, son of Rev. Matthew P. Sr. and Doris C. (Toney) Tisinger. 

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Marsha (Morris), brothers Matthew Jr., Robert, Anthony, and sister Laire Gaskins. 

Survived by children Stephanie Tisinger, of Georgia; Damita "Nikki" Manson, of Johnstown; Raymond Morris, of Johnstown; Casandra "Pooh" Cunningham, of Johnstown; Mark Edward "Eddie" Jr., of Johnstown; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Rev. Theodore Tisinger (Linda Faye), and Alex Tisinger, both of Johnstown; sisters, Rev. Loretta Hughes and Linda K. Smith, both of Johnstown; close nephews Theodore Tisinger Jr. and Justin Tisinger Sr. special friends, Bruce Wade, Oscar Cashaw, Bishop David March.

Mark was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School where he wrestled. He worked for US Steel and Island Creed Coal Company, and was formerly employed at Lee Hospital. 
 He loved his Cadillac and Lincoln Cars, and enjoyed cutting his grass and shoveling snow. 

Mark helped coach Little League with his brother. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed. 

Mark was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, 639 Menoher Blvd., where friends will be received from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Saturday, October 7, 2023. A Homegoing Service will begin at 12 Noon, the Rev. Theodore Tisinger.
