Marvin L. "Schoie" Schofield, 81, of Johnstown, died on July 15, 2022, at The Villa. Born on March 21, 1941, in Johnstown, son of Hurst Woods Schofield and Mary (James).

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Maria (Panasiti), and brothers-in-law Pete Barron and Anthony Formica. Survived by children Kimberly Schofield, of Johnstown; Michael Schofield married to Pam, of Chambersburg; and Craig Schofield married to Rose, of Johnstown; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Dolores Barron; sister-in-law Angela Formica. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Schoie was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and retired from Bethlehem Steel.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905, where a Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 PM. Private interment, Grandview Mausoleum.
