Mary is survived by her son David (Deborah Fabina) and daughter Joanne (Bill Black). She has two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. We are truly heartbroken, as the person we turn to in times like this is no longer with us. To us, she was just Mom. She was the emotional rock, always there when we needed her. She was there for every sickness, injury, heartbreak, and hardship, providing wisdom and comfort that only a mother could provide. She was there for every triumph cheering us on while beaming with pride at our accomplishments, no matter how big or how small. She instilled in us the value of hard work and the importance of faith. We had a mother who always put us first and we wouldn’t trade that for all the money in the world. We love you, Mom, and we will always miss you.
Mary worked at WT Grant as a sales associate and was the manager at Mike’s Hobbies and Crafts. She enjoyed doing crafts and craft shows. She loved cooking and having homemade Sunday dinners for her family. She also had an open door to her home, making everyone feel special. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, and a member of the Sons of Italy, Lodge 1614 and the Catholic Daughters of America.
There will be no viewing. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at St. Clare of Assisi Church, Rev. George M. Gulash. Private Interment, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Geistown, next to her loving husband.
