Mary Louise Perry, 95, of Windber, died on May 30, 2022, at Windber Woods. Born on December 15, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of Charles and Anna (Amenta) Manganello. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 64 years Ernest Perry, son-in-law Ronald Homola, siblings Sam Manganello (Theda), Sara Gemus (James), Paul Manganello, and Josephine Bell, brothers-in-law Dominic Perry and William Giannone, sisters-in-law Sr. Grace Michael Perry and Dolly Mazzarese. Survived by children Frances Stoup (Richard) and Mary Ann Homola, grandchildren Richard Stoup (Meredith), Brian Stoup (Kelli), Jason Homola (Katie), and Jodie Thomas (Mark), 9 great-grandchildren Haley and Kenan Stoup, Andrew and Austin Homola, Mark and Jacob Thomas, Jack, Dylan, and Vivian Stoup. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Vita Giannone and Rose Perry.
Mary worked at Mercy Hospital and also at the U.S. Department of Labor. Mary was dedicated to her family. She loved her Ernie and her daughters were her pride and joy. She was a classy lady and a woman ahead of her time. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial mass was held privately for the family at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Private interment, St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
