Mary Louise Rajter, 90, of Johnstown, died on July 23, 2022, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Born on February 28, 1932, in Johnstown, daughter of Francesco and Maria (Nanna) Ciccone. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roland Ciccone, sister, Rita Ciccone, father of their children, Leo Casimir Rajter, and brother-in-law Sheldon Cornell. Survived by her loving children, Leo Rajter (Sally), Jeanette PA; Francis J. Rajter, Johnstown; John Rajter (Marsha), Johnstown; Cecilia Allen Rajter (Curtis), Rockville, MD; Jacqueline Rajter Alton (John Randall), Rockville, MD; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Rajter (Liane); Jessica Blasko (William); Zachary Rajter; Britni Rajter; Rachel Rajter (fiancé Andrew Culp); Lauren Allen (Daniel Hertzka); Lindsey Allen Kicinski (Andrew); Mackenzie Allen; Alexandra Alton; Sean Alton; 3 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Makala Blasko, and Lucas Allen Hertzka; sister Justine Cornell, Johnstown; brother Henry Ciccone, Johnstown; nephew David Cornell (Susan); niece Rebecca O'Connor (Jim); great-nephew, Daniel O'Connor.
Mary Louise graduated from Johnstown Catholic High School and attended Seton Hill University. She worked as an LPN and taught at St. Michael's Elementary School. She was a lifelong devout Catholic and enjoyed watching mass on EWTN.
Friends and family will be received from 9:30-10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 120 Barron Ave. Fr. Anthony F. Spilka, OFM. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
