Mary A Zangaglia, 102, of Sidman, died September 10th, 2021. Born February 15, 1919 in Homer City , PA.
Daughter of Santo and Micheline (Palermo) Cusimano. Preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Sylvester who died in 1993, son-in-law Robert Fiffick, daughter-in -law Joeann (Vindish) Zangaglia, infant brothers and a sister, sisters Betty DeForte,Sadie Verrone,Violet Parisi, Josephine Panasiti and brother Joseph Cusimano. Survived by children James of South Fork, Mary Fiffick married to James Nupp of Maryland, sister Grace Fedenick, grandchildren Eric, Vincent, Bobbie, Heather (Clifford), Michell , Michael, Frank, Matthew and Jeremy , great-grandchildren Cassie, Jacquelyn, Anthony, Kody, Coleston, Shane, Travis, Trevor ,Trenton, Tristan and Campbell, great-great grandson Dextor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime member of St. Michael Parish, Sidman, worked at the macaroni factory in Indiana, the bakery, and made grenades during WWII. She attended school with Jimmy Stuart, who often carried her books home. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Friends received from 10 AM to 1 PM Tuesday September 14, 2021, with Funeral Service to follow, at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Avenue (near PA Drivers Center) 15904. Msgr. David Lockard. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
