Mary L. “Mary Lou” Cramer Obituary

Mary L. “Mary Lou” Cramer, 71, of Johnstown, PA passed from this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Dec 28, 2020.  She was born on  May 13, 1949 in Johnstown, the daughter of Jacob C. Hilton and Anna L. (Sharretts) Hilton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas C. Hilton.  She is survived by her sister, Patricia A. (Joachim) Figge, Johnstown; her Aunt Marie (Donald) Schneck; children: Melinda (James) Gray, Grove City, PA; Kristie Bell, Johnstown; Grandchildren: Courtney (Michael) Servello, Irvona; Ashley Bell, Johnstown; Scotty Bell, Johnstown; Paige Gray, Grove City;  Great-grandchildren: Sierra Berger, Brantley Servello, Bryleigh Servello, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Bishop McCort High School, where she played clarinet in the school band. She worked as a hairdresser, at Bestform in Johnstown and at  Burger King in Richland.  She also volunteered her time to Girl Scouting for many years and held annual pinochle card clubs.  But most of all,  she spent every moment of her life as a loving mother and grandmother. Additionally, she had many beloved friends and acquaintances, as well as a pet rabbit, Cookie. She was also a member of St. Benedict Church, Johnstown, PA.

Mary Lou’s favorite things include card games, Words with Friends, board games, good conversation, Italian food, tight hugs, the Steelers and most importantly, her family. 

As Mary Lou would say, she is “Just Peachy”.

All services will be held privately in person for the family and will be live streamed for extended family and friends. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
