Matthew Peffer

Matthew Peffer tragically passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 41. 

Born on April 7, 1979 in Johnstown, PA, son of Wayne and Kathy (Swart) Peffer. He was raised in Westmont with his sister Amanda (Peffer) Sullivan.

He was a 1997 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School, and went on to receive a degree in architectural engineering from Penn State University in 2002. Matt immediately began his career with Barton Malow, where he worked until the day he left this earth. 

Matt married Michelle (Feichtel) Peffer on April 25, 2011. It was then that he stepped seamlessly into his most cherished roll as Faith's dad. 

Matt is survived by his wife Michelle and daughter Faith, sister Amanda Sullivan (Chris), parents Wayne and Kathy Peffer. As well as nephews and nieces that loved him to "infinity and beyond", William Sullivan, Luke, Jackson, and Emma Feichtel, and Marissa Carderella. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 - 7 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. A service will begin at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Wes Yoder.
