Michael Berardi III Obituary

Michael Charles Berardi III died suddenly on May 4, 2025 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born March 4, 1957 in Johnstown, son of the late Michael C. Jr and Frances (Siciliano) Berardi.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Adrienne (Frear), sons Anthony married to Viktoria, and Dominic married to Giulia, grandchildren Leonardo and Leo, sisters Gina Matcho (Chris), Linda Berardi-Demo (John), Vicki Leoni (Brother Joel), mother-in-law Carol Hower and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a 1975 graduate of Bishop McCort High School. He went on to become a manager for GEE BEE, Bilo and County Market grocery stores. He was an avid coin and bourbon collector amassing epic collections. Michael was an amateur Archeologist, and participated in volunteer excursions to Israel, Romania, Italy and Hadrian’s Wall in England to explore ancient ruins from eras long past. He nurtured his love of history by travelling across the globe both alone and with his family. He cherished his family most of all, particularly his grandchildren and playing video games with his sons weekly. In later years, his travel plans shifted to the beautiful white sand beaches of Fort Walton Beach, where he and his wife purchased a second home. Additionally, Michael was a devoted member of multiple chapters of the Johnstown Masonic Temple.

The family of Michael would like to thank the family, friends, and many health care providers who worked tirelessly over the last few years to enable Michael to live his life to its fullest. It took many hands to care for Michael, and his family greatly appreciated every ride, meal, relic, or story on the balcony shared with him. Keep in mind his favorite phrase going forward: “It’ll be fine”.
