Michael F. Komara

Michael F. Komara, 83, of Upper Yoder, passed away surrounded by his family on July 11, 2025 at home. Born March 26, 1942. Son of Albert and Katherine (Zamiska) Komara. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Vass.

Survived by loving and devoted wife Joan (Nardecchia), children Greg, Michele married to Gary Czyrnik, and Eric, grandchildren Emma, Nate, Nicholas, Julia, Ella, Charlie, and Drew. Also brother Jack Komara and sister-in-law Gerry Peduzzi.

Michael graduated from Greater Johnstown High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and Master's Degree in  Industrial Relations at St. Francis University. He retired from the former US Bank as VP of Human Resources and also retired from Camtran as HR Director.

At Michael's request, Funeral Service and Interment at Grandview Cemetery will be Private.
