Michael S. Margic

Michael S. "Geronimo" Margic, 69, of Johnstown, died on November 12, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Born on August 25, 1952 in Johnstown, son of Frank C. and Catherine B. (Fabina) Margic. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, John, Stephen, Fred, Joseph, Frank Jr., sister, Janet Ochenrider, and sister-in-law Margaret.

Survived by sons Paul Margic, Kevin Margic married to Chelsea, grandson Cole Margic, and sisters Louise Warner (John) Catherine Edwards, Frances Warner (Sherman), Rosemary Rovansek, Ruthann Wos, and Mary Peruso (Joe). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was a kindhearted, fun-loving man that was very strong-willed and never afraid to lend a helping hand when someone was in need. He loved to tell stories from the many years he spent as a truck driver and it was a guarantee that if “Geronimo” was involved, it was a story worth listening. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman that admired hunting, fishing, and anything that kept him from being indoors. Michael loved to spend time with his friends, family, and especially with his “little buddy” Cole.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michael's family. The family will also be accepting contributions through a gofundme that was setup in Michael’s name to help pay for his final expenses. SEE LINK BELOW.

Friends received from 4-7 PM on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904. (Near PA Drivers Center and Armory). Private interment held at a later date.
