Michael Omahne

Michael F. Omahne Jr., 81 of Westmont passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at home surrounded by loving family.  Born July 15, 1943, the son of Michael F. Sr and Gloria (Natali) Omahne. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Craig.  

Mike is survived by his loving wife Jackie (Irwin) and sons; Michael; Jason and wife Oxana (Bokta) and daughter Sophia; Brian and wife Jennifer (Cowan) and daughters Jocelyn, Jordyn, and Joy all of Westmont. Daughter Cindy of Florida; Sister Robin and husband Rick Dunmire and family of Pittsburgh.  Also survived by in-laws: Donna and Bob Schutte, Sandy and Tom Torchia, Kathy and Bob Clark, Don and Shelly Irwin, Mark and Tanya Irwin. 

Mike grew up in Pittsburgh, graduated from Waynesburg College and eventually moved to Johnstown. Fulfilling his dream of becoming his own boss, Mike bought Harry’s Pizza and transformed it into WPP Dough Company, a thriving manufacturer of pizza dough.   

As a successful entrepreneur, he received many accolades including the Top 100 people in Pennsylvania Business Central.  He was a long-time member of Sunnehanna Country Club where he achieved 3 hole in ones.  Devoted to his family and his business, Mike lived a life filled with purpose, positivity, and passion.  

Friends received from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd.  He was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church where Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11a.m., the Very Reverend Fr. Mark S. Begly officiating. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
