Michael A. "Cork" Crisafulli, 71 of Southmont, died suddenly on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home.
Born December 3, 1954 in Johnstown, PA. Son of Anthony "Corkey" and Margaret (Nemetz) Crisafulli.
Preceded in death by his parents, niece Alicia, father-in-law and mother-in-law Howard and Cecelia Sherman.
Survived by loving and devoted wife of 48 years Kathy (Sherman), loving children Laurie married to Adam Camuso, Justin Crisafulli and fiancee Lacy Cooper. His grandchildren Audrey Crisafulli, Joseph and Nicholas Camuso who loved and adored their Pappy. Brothers Tony and Sam (Teresa) Crisafulli, loving cousins, his brothers and sisters-in-law Tom (Marianne) Sherman, Sue Little (Joe), Denny Sherman, Don (Colleen) Sherman, Sherry Gazze (Mark), Colleen Sherman (Scott Kubay), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from Richland High School in 1972 and received an Engineering Degree from UPJ. Employed at Miller-Picking Corporation for 20 years and Freight Car America, where he retired from in 2018. He was a well known basketball coach for over 40 years; currently, with the Forest Hills Lady Ranger. He loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and their annual trips to the beach. Michael belonged to many local clubs including, the Harmony Singing Society, Moxham PNA, Union Social Club, and Elks BPOE 175 among others.
Friends received from 4-7 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. He was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 12 noon.
Private entombment at Grandview Mausoleum.
