Michelle Stephens

Michelle Stephens, 52, of Moxham, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born April 6, 1967 in Johnstown, daughter of Kenneth Gibson Sr. and Clara Ann (Burns). 

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Dwayne Gibson, and father in law John R. Stephens.   

Survived by loving and devoted husband of 29 years, Ken Stephens, loving daughters Apryle married to Nic Berkey; Alena married to Andrew Gehlmann; Ashley and Alexa Stephens; two grandchildren Zander and Audrey Ann Berkey; brother Kenny Gibson married to Ann, sisters-in-law Sharon Gibson, Mary Cheroki, Anna Vasquez and husband Manny; brother-in-law Joseph Stephens; mother-in-law Catherine Stephens; numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by her cousin Kriste Sloan and best friend Lisa Edwards. As well as loving companions Boo, Chance, and Nova Mittens.

Michelle was a 1985 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was formerly employed at Bilo Stores as a cake decorator and pharmacy technician. She was employed at Johnstown Pharmacy as a technician. She enjoyed hosting family holidays, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach to soak up the sunshine, and shopping. Michelle was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be sadly missed. She will be remembered by her humor and contagious laugh, the love she gave to her family and friends, and her famous banana cake.

Friends will be received from 4-7 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fr. Walter Moll. Private Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
