Moonyene "Moony" D. Kegg

Moonyene D. "Moony" Kegg, 83 of, Davidsville, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was born February 7, 1943 in Johnstown, Daughter of John Daugherty and Ellen (Kinsey). Preceded in death by her parents, and sister Kathleen.

Survived by loving and devoted husband of 65 years Harvey Kegg, daughters Chris married to Brad Swanson of Lewistown , Janice married to Patrick McClain, grandchildren Josh McClain, Ellen McCardell (Andy), Jonathan McClain married to Corinne, Sarah Swanson (Bryce), and great grand daughters Raelynn and Peyton, also brother Thomas Daugherty (June) and many friends.

Moony was a 1961 Graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School. She was a knitting instructor at the Sears Store, formerly employed at Hickory Farms in the Mall.  She retired from H & R Block as a tax preparer. Moony enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her all time favorite was watching birds, deer, and squirrels from the sun room, she called it her own little wild kingdom.

Private Funeral Arrangements at her request are entrusted to Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Rev. Wes Yoder officiating. Interment at Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
