Nancee Camuti, 63, passed away peacefully at Frederick Health Hospital on April 17, 2025, in Frederick, MD. Born September 7, 1961 in Washington, D.C., daughter of Maylee Joan Camut and the late Albert J. Camut, Sr. Preceded in death by her father, Albert J. Camut, Sr., and nephew, William T. Camut.
Survived by her loving mother, Maylee Joan Camut and her siblings: Albert J. Jr. and wife Cathy Camut, Deborah and husband Duke Hoffman, and Joan and husband Matt Joyce; as well as niece and nephews: Michael and Bryan Hoffman, Albert J. Camut, III, Marissa and James Joyce.
Nancee grew up in Potomac, Maryland. She attended Winston Churchill High School, Class of 1979, and graduated from Towson University in 1983.
Nancee was a gentle soul who loved spending time in nature and was always looking for her next adventure. As a child, she was a true animal lover and some of her fondest memories were visiting her mother’s family farm in West Virginia. In college, she was the president of the Outdoor Adventures Club. She was truly fearless and some of her favorite memories were hang-gliding, skydiving, and traveling cross-country with her beloved Aunt Margie.
She was a talented artist with a passion for creativity and was so giving to everyone, especially her family and friends. She was a dedicated daughter, loving sister, and fun-loving aunt who doted on her niece and nephews.
Nancee had a beautiful heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her strong faith in God carried her through her entire life. She spread joy and kindness everywhere she went, and we will miss her calm and gentle presence in our lives forever.
Friends and Family will be received Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from noon until time of funeral service at 1:00pm at Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel, 404 Walters Avenue, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Father James Crookston.
Interment immediately to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
