Nancy grew up on her family’s farm. She graduated from Forbes High School in 1969, the same year as her favorite red mustang. She worked as a CNA at Siemon’s Lakeview Manor and a private caregiver to many patients in their homes. She retired from Patriot manor as an activities aid for 17 years. Nancy was a caring person, always thought of others before herself. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family was very important. She battled Alzheimer’s disease for the last 9 years, with her daughters as her primary caregivers. Nancy always had a strong Faith and was active in her Church from a young age. She taught Sunday school and would give rides to the neighborhood kids on Sundays; it did not matter the time and distance it would take her, she never wanted to tell someone no. She was a longtime member of Somerset Church of God.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 at Somerset Church of God, 1020 W Main St. Somerset. Due to the current restrictions, there will be a private family funeral service to follow, Pastors Dean Sisk, M.D. Herring, and Michael Singo officiating. Flowers may be sent directly to the church. Interment, Beulah Church Cemetery, Friedens.
