Nancy L. Zucco, 87, of Johnstown, died on June 14, 2022, while holding her husband’s hand at Arbutus Park Manor. Born on February 9, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of Clifford and Helen (Neisner)
Richey. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Clifford (Donna) Richey, sister Shirley Klucker, and brother-in-law Gerald Moon.
Survived by loving husband Donato B. Zucco, sister Helen Moon, nephews Clifford (Cathy) Richey, Gerald (Kathy) Moon, and Joe (Wendy) Klucker, niece Cindy Sheperd, stepchildren Jodi Zucco, Jami (Brad) Janidlo, David (Kathleen) Zucco, step-grandchildren Ethan and Emily Janidlo, Ava and Drew Zucco, sister-in-law Connie (Ray) Huff, and nieces and nephews Michelle (Skip) Graham, and Tara (Jeff) Klein. Also survived by special friends Chet and Dot Siembak, and Mary Lou Oyler, as well as many others too numerous to mention.
She was formerly employed by the Greater Johnstown School District, starting as a switchboard operator, and retired after 33 years as secretary to the superintendent.
She loved children, golfing, traveling, clothes shopping, and dining out. Nancy and Don enjoyed 27 years of marriage together. She was especially proud of recognizing her parents at the Bottle Works in Cambria City. She will be sadly missed by her family.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM. Rev. Matthew Baum. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
