Norma Louise Oliverio, 87, of Westmont, died June 18, 2023 at Westmont Woods.
She was born October 31, 1935 in Homer City. She was the daughter of Peter Samuel and Mary Letitia (Morrone) Oliverio. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Evelyn, Teresa, and Gilda (Thomas Dunlap); brothers: Anthony D. (Gertrude), Jesse C. (Agnes), Dominic (Carmella), Joseph (Marjorie), and Samuel S. (Mary Alice). Norma was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and her church family.
She graduated from Derry Borough High School. She then attended Seton Hill College receiving a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. Norma worked for Conemaugh Hospital for 30 years and retired as Assistant Director of Dietary Services. She was loved and cherished by those who knew her. Norma was kind and always giving, a child of God only knowing goodness and had a heart of gold.
Friends will be received from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 25 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown, PA 15905.
Norma was a longtime devoted member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, June 26, 2023, the very Rev. Mark S. Begly, officiating. Interment to follow immediately after her Funeral Mass in procession to St. Bernard's Cemetery, Indiana, Pennsylvania.
