Patricia E. Yates, 92, of Westmont, passed away June 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, at Conemaugh Hospital.
Born February 24, 1932, in Southfork PA, she was the daughter of Hugh Ellis Jr. and Pearl (Peck).
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dr. William Yates who passed in 2008, brother Ron Ellis, and brother-in-law James Smith.
Pat is survived by these loving children, Jeffrey married to Sheila (Long) of Williamsport, Donald married to Vickie (Peterson) of Ohio, Cynthia married to Robert Bambino, and Scott married to Brenda (Napora).
Nana, Great Nana, GG adored her 11 grandchildren, Bradley (Erica), Courtney, Leah (Mike),
Hannah (Anthony), Sarah (Jonathan), Derek, Lauren (Michael), Phoebe (Zachary), Matthew, Grace (Patrick), Abigail, and 16 great-grandchildren Jaiden, Carson, Hailey, Chloe, Emma, Jace, Logan, Jaylynn, Domenico, Jackson, Cody, Emery, Hudson, Isla, Cole, and Luke. With Nana's last breath, new life was created 32 minutes with the birth of her 16th great-grandchild.
Also survived by sister Donna Smith, sisters-in-law Karen Ellis of Chicago and Margerie Houghman of Vancover B.C., and her longtime nursing friends.
She graduated from South Fork Croyle High School, CVMH School of Nursing with an R.N. Degree, and was Office Manager for Lee Surgeons Inc. and she was a successful Real Estate agent. Pat loved her husband and enjoyed traveling with him. She enjoyed many years of great memories with her family at Indian Lake and she loved to golf with her friends.
Friends received 3-7 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. 15905.
Pat was a longtime member of Westmont Presbyterian Church where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday. Entombment will follow at Grandview Mausoleum.
