Patrick J. Greenwood

Patrick J. Greenwood, 85, of Menoher Heights, passed away on July 11, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born March 15, 1935 in Johnstown, son of George and Anna Greenwood. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, and Daughter-in-Law Romaine Greenwood.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy (Will), children Linda Rigo (Bill), Patrick (Laura), Thomas, Susan Stem (Jerry), and Daniel, all of Johnstown. Proud Grandfather of Brian Rigo, Amy Prindle (Tim), Adam Rigo, Kevin Greenwood (Sara), Michelle Blough (Billy), Stephanie Greenwood, Jason Greenwood (Megan), Eric Stem, and Katie Stem (fiancee Chris). Great-Grandchildren Lilly and Brody Prindle, Lynley Greenwood, Weston and Piper Blough, and Amelia Greenwood. Also survived by Sister-in-Law Dorothy Mathews, Sister-in-Law and Brother-In-Law Jane and Bill Blackham, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Patrick was a 1954 graduate of Johnstown High. He was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Alaska. After serving in the military, he worked as a salesman for Morris Paper Co. Soon after, Pat and Nancy established Greenwood Antiques and operated it for 15 years. They also owned and operated Greenwood Tree Farm for 35 years. He took pride in making sure every tree was trimmed to perfection. 

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and touched many lives. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family. He looked forward to his yearly visits to Florida with Bill and Jane (Nancy's identical twin.) He also enjoyed meeting his many friends at the Westwood McDonald's. 

Family and friends received from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd.

Member of St. Clement Parish for 47 years, where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, Rev. William Rosenbaum.

Face masks required if attending viewing and Funeral Mass.

Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
