Paul H. Sottile

Paul H. Sottile, 71, formerly of Johnstown, died on September 22, 2023 in Pittsburgh in the loving presence and company of his sons. Born on July 31, 1952, in Johnstown, son of August J. and Dorothea (Cobaugh) Sottile.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Survived by his sons Paul Sottile Jr., of High Point, NC and Jeremy Sottile married to Denise (Kozar), of Gibsonia, granddaughters Alexandra, Allison, and Jordan, brother August J. Sottile Jr. (Lois), niece and nephew Lynette and A.J. (Jen), and special cousin Patricia Weir.

Paul was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech and was formerly employed at Al's Tire Service, Sani-Dairy, and eventually retired from Dean Foods. The time spent at Sani-Dairy, and the lifelong friends that he met there, was always very special to him. There was very little that he enjoyed more than his morning coffee and donut, except for sharing it with his sons, and spending time with his granddaughters.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown, PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Rev. Matthew Baum. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
