Peter J. DiMarino, 93, of Dunlo, died peacefully May 10, 2025 at VA Medical Center in Altoona, PA.
He was born March 17, 1932 in Stoystown, PA, the son of Salvatore DiMarino and Antoinette (DiGiambattista).
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Michiko (Yamada); his sister, Theresa; his brothers: Joseph, Dan, Frank, and Mario.
Survived by his daughter, Antoinette DiMarino (Dunlo, PA); his son, Pete and wife Pam (Amarillo, Texas); his brother, Tony and wife Tensia; his grandchildren: Antoinette Orlosky (DeMichael Clark, Fiancee), Tyler DiMarino (Kelsey), and Taylor DiMarino; his great grandchildren: Delilah, DeMichael, DeMarco, and Callum.
Peter proudly served in the US Army for over 25 years, serving in Vietnam and Korea. He was formerly employed at Forest Hills School District, and retired from UPJ after 10 years in the maintenance department. He was a longtime member of the St. Michael American Legion. Peter was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and had many friends.
Friends will be received 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, EAST HILLS CHAPEL, 404 Walters Avenue, Johnstown.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday at the Funeral Home with a military ritual from Conemaugh Valley Marine Corp League Detachment 287.
Private Entombment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
