Peter "Pete" Pingatore

Peter "Pete" Pingatore, 83, of Oakland, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024 at Windber Woods. Born on October 27, 1940 in Johnstown, son of Emilio and Anna (Malinovsky) Pingatore.

Preceded in death by parents.

Survived by loving wife Donna (Wallace), daughter Christine wife of Kevin Garmong, of Venango County, and son Anthony married to Cheryl (Bostock), of Windber, grandchildren Caitlyn and Tyler Pingatore, and Gabrielle Garmong (Noah Keebler), sisters Connie LaBuda, and Emily wife of Jerry Jacobsky, brothers-in-law Thomas Wallace (Alice), Robert Wallace (Joan), and Jim Regan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete worked in the grocery store industry for over 50 years and worked for Thorofare Markets, Riverside Markets, and retired from Market Basket. He loved woodworking, the outdoors, and his flower garden.

A private viewing and Funeral Mass was held for the family at St. Benedict Catholic Church.  Private Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery.
