Philip M. Canini, 74, of Richland, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022 at Windber Hospice with his beloved wife by his side. Born on August 29, 1948 in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph Sr. and Santa "Sadie" (Costanzo) Canini. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years Helen "Helly" (Urbassik) Canini; sisters Rosemary J. Phil was an uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, to many names to mention, and a dear friend to many.
Phil was a 1966 graduate of Johnstown High School and worked for Bethlehem Steel until his position was eliminated. He later went on to earn a BS Degree in accounting from St. Francis University. Phil retired from the US Postal Service with twenty years of service and was a veteran of the US Army, stationed in Germany. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan.
