Robert C. "Rob" Strack, 67, of Upper Yoder, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2024. Born on July 18, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY, son of Charles A. and Edith (Ducey) Strack.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Ernest, and father-in-law Norman Krumenacker Jr.
Survived by loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Claudia K. (Krumenacker) Strack, loving children Bradley R. Strack, married to Renee Strack, of Delray Beach, FL, and Ashley "Strack” Turner, wife of Andrew Turner, his grandchildren, the "Joy of his life", Tyson and Jett Turner, sister Cindy Strack, of New Jersey, mother-in-law Dorothy Krumenacker, brother-in-law Norman Krumenacker III, sisters-in-law Debra Krumenacker and Kelli Krumenacker. Also, many loving nieces and nephews.
Rob was a career banker, managing a number of local branches over a 44-year career, known for developing long lasting relationships with his clients. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams. He loved to play, coach, and referee soccer, and impacted the lives of so many through his soft spoken demeanor and unwavering positive attitude. He enjoyed serving on the board and volunteering his time for the Richland Fire Department. He had a passion for photography and going to the beach with his family. He will best be remembered as an amazing husband, a super fan of kids, and the world’s best Grampy.
Friends received from 3-7 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Fr. Frank Scornaienchi. Private Entombment to follow at Grandview Mausoleum.
