Robert R. Wissinger

Robert R. Wissinger, 90 of Richland passed away peacefully at home September 28, 2025.

Born November 25, 1934 in Johnstown. Son of Robert and Ann (Horansky) Wissinger.  Preceded in death by parents, wife Beverly, daughter Sandra and grandson Brandon.

Survived by daughter Deborah Krstyen (Rick), son Robert Wissinger Jr (Pam); grandchildren Bobbie Jo, Ashley, Courtney and Nate; great grandchildren Christopher, Timothy, Tyler and Ava; brother Jack Wissinger (Betty); niece Michele; nephews Robert and John.

Robert was a 1952 graduate of Richland High School. He retired from Miller-Thomas-Gyekis as Journeyman Roofer. He was a member of Roofers Union Local 37 Pittsburgh.

He was a member of St. Benedict Church where he served as an usher. Robert achieved Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed duckpin bowling and was Director for local tournaments and ARDBC at Zips Lanes. Robert was President of ARDBC.  He was former Fire Chief of Richland Fire Department. Robert was a Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed attending their games.

Friends received from 10:00 to Noon on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave, Johnstown PA 15904.

Funeral service to be held immediately after at Funeral Home.  Interment Richland Cemetery.
