Robert "Bob" M. Yurch

Robert M. "Bob" Yurch, 87 of Oakland, passed away suddenly January 23, 2025 in Johnstown. He was born November 3rd, 1937 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary (Lupchak); his beloved children: Jennifer and Robert; his sister, Mary Jane Yacynych; and his aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Michael Kropilak.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Ann (Pettina); his loving daughter, Melissa and her husband Christian Tracy; his loving grandchildren: Olivia, Hannah and Christian; his brother- in- law, Phil Pettina (Carol); his brother-in - law, Walter Yacynych; also his nephews, Dr. Robert Yacynych (Marianne) and John Yacynych (Maureen).

Bob was a 1955 Graduate of Bishop McCort High School. He retired from GTE after 35 years service. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Bob loved to watch his grandchildren's sporting events.

Friends will be received 4-7 pm Monday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. 15905.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 121 Maple Avenue, Johnstown, 15901, Fr. George Gulash.

Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
