Michael John Beblar, 40, of Westmont died suddenly on June 13, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on October 13, 1982, in Johnstown, son of Michael and Rosemary (Frankhauser) Beblar. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Joseph Frankhauser Jr, paternal grandparents Emil and Shirley Beblar, and Aunt Joyce Svet.
Survived by his loving parents, sons Joseph and Jacob and daughter McKenzie Sinclair, brothers David L. Beblar (Rebecca) and their children Trevor and Connor, Steven R. Beblar (Krista) and their children Kayli and Luke, loving fiancé Justine Sinclair, grandmother Agnes Frankhauser, aunts and uncles Thomas (Michelle) Beblar, Joseph (Mary) Frankhauser, Barry (Shari) Frankhauser, Anita (David Hetzer), Tina Felix, James (Susan) Frankhauser, and 26 cousins. Also survived by Justine's parents Sheldon and Lisa Sinclair, and Justine's sister Chelsey (Andrew Crum), and their children Greenley and Brantley.
He was a 2001 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and received an Associate Degree at Penn Highlands in Criminal Justice, and attended the Greater Johnstown Police Academy. He was the former Police Chief of Dale Borough, a Police Officer for the U.P.J Police Department, and Upper Yoder Twp. Police Department. Michael was a member of the Cambria County S.E.R.T. team with the position of sniper, and was a certified federal firearms instructor and armorer. Michael was a member of the F.O.P LODGE 86. He was currently a Sergeant at West Hills Regional Police Department. He helped organize many fundraisers, including Guns and Hoses ice hockey, and a Hometown Heroes Softball Tournament. He volunteered for many organizations and loved helping children. Michael cherished his brothers and sisters in blue. Michael was a loving son, father, brother, and fiancé and will be forever in our hearts. "He was a hero to all.”
