Sondra L. Lamb

Sondra L. Lamb, 82, of Upper Yoder, passed away March 15, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. She was born March 29, 1942 in Johnstown, daughter of John D. and Alice (Rafferty) Varnish. She was preceded in death by her parents, and is now reunited with her husband, John Lamb and her best friend, Wanda.

Sondra is survived by her two daughters: Janine Jones, and Jessica married to Boyd Wingard; her sister whom Sondra and John raised as a daughter, Jackie married to Martin Chaswick; her grandchildren: Allyson Frick; Mitchell and Kylee Taylor; Nate, Steve, and Anna Wingard; and Maxx Jones.

Sondra was self-less, always wanting to cook and take care of everyone. She loved her recipes, reality TV, puzzles, telling jokes, playing cards, and watching the Steelers.

Mostly, she loved her 7 grandchildren and devoted herself to them. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services are private at her request and entrusted to Frank Duca Funeral Home.
