Stephen Francis Kohler

Stephen Francis Kohler, 59, of Westmont, died unexpectedly on August 22, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center due to a subdural hematoma.

Born May 1, 1961 in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph J. Sr.. and Alma (Glock) Kohler.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph Jr., nephews Joseph III. and Stephen Kohler.

Survived by wife Wendy Beeler, and sisters Karen Kohler, Anita, wife of  James Patrick, and Teresa, wife of Bill McConnell. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Stephen was a graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School, Class of 1980, where he was a wrestler and on the Rifle team. After high school he lived in Colorado and Wyoming, before settling back in his home town. He was self-employed and a certified plumber ,and former Vice-President of Kolbar Vending Company. He was a member of St. Clair Tremont Club and New Baltimore Hunting and Fishing Club.

Stephen was active at his family's  farm and enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and gardening. He liked to hike with his dog and especially loved driving his Porsche Carrera. Stephen was a kindhearted, generous person with a good sense of humor,who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Private Services will be held for the family at Grandview Cemetery.
