Suzanne (Hoffman) Walko, 84, of Southmont, died on September 24, 2022. Born on November 23, 1937, in Johnstown, beloved daughter of Clyde Henry and Sara Jane (Hostetler) Hoffman.
Preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law Thomas Price. Survived by loving husband of 66 years, George Walko, children, Diana Price, Theresa (Timothy) Rough, George Scott Walko (Jacqueline Widman), Wendy (Raymond) Rosenbaum, John Walko (Tammy Dorian), grandchildren, Michael (Casey) Welsh, Heather (Keith) McMillen, Nathan (Emily) Rosenbaum, Natalie (Robert) Lang, Jacob (Nichole) Rosenbaum, Daniel (Crissi) Price, Sarah Walko (Andrew Alikhani), Melissa (Steven) DeLorge, Joshua Rosenbaum, Johnny Walko, Matthew (Audrey) Price, and Ashley (Michael) Petroczky, Great grandchildren, Anna, Max, and Brock Rosenbaum, Robert, Casey, and Cora Lang, Cameron, Caden, and Delaney Price, Michael and Lucas Welsh, Brynlee and Amelia Rosenbaum, Jacob and Jaxon DeLorge, Arya and Mila Price, Olivia, Landon, and Addie Petroczky, and a great-grandchild, Henry Scott DeLorge, due in November. Also survived by brothers Lynn Hoffman (Marcia Wolfhope) and William Hoffman.
Suzanne, George, and son John are the owners and operators of the antique shop Curiosity Corner in Moxham. Suzanne had a passion for antiques, was an avid auction attendee at all of the local auctions, and was a certified appraiser. She worked at the voting poles in Southmont for many years, was very active in her Johnstown High School class reunions and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She absolutely adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and loved her younger brothers with all her heart. She enjoyed going out to eat, was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, and loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She was a longtime member of Moxham Lutheran Church.
Friends and family will be received from 4-7 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home, Pastor Mark Fisher. Interment to follow at Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sipesville, PA.
