Suzanne “Aunt Sue” George

Suzanne “Aunt Sue” George, 72, of Johnstown, PA passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025. Born on October 22, 1952.  She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob C George and Sally B. Atty, Sister Martha Mcloota, and Brothers, William George,, Robert George and George Agypt.  She is survived by her Brother Richard George of MA, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Suzanne was a proud graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School, Class of 1972.

Suzanne owned and operated Studio 210, a beauty salon for several years, where she forged numerous relationships with clients, many of which became friends.

Suzanne was lovingly known as “Aunt Sue” to her family and many friends. She was a warm, caring, and selfless individual who brightened the lives of those around her. One of her greatest passions was spending time in Ocean City, MD where she enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the beach with many of her friends and family..

In addition to her love for the beach, Suzanne dedicated much of her time to helping others. She was an active volunteer at The Women’s Help Center. 

Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will begin 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 9th at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Following the prayers, friends will be received from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM.  On Thursday, April 10th, Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will begin 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with a funeral service to immediately follow at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, the Very Rev. Father Donald Shadid, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
