Teresa Arena

Teresa Arena, 94, of Johnstown, died on February 12, 2020 in Johnstown. Born December 15, 1925 daughter of Angelo and Marie (Caputo) Pinizzotto.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Anthony (1986), brothers Samuel and Joseph, sister Rose Rilogio and her husband Joseph Rilogio, sisters in law Olga (Baligush) Pinizzotto and Rose (Lizzio) Pinizzotto. Also numerous brothers and sisters-in- law of the Arena family. Survived by loving sons Joseph Arena married to Barbara (Mock); David Arena; and Mark Arena; grandchildren Anthony (Sarah) Arena, Matthew (Stacey) Arena, Stephen Arena, Nikkilette and Alexxi Arena; great-grandchildren Gianna and Emily Arena; brothers Anthony "Red" Pinizzotto and Mario Pinizzotto; sister Mary Falvo (Vince); sister-in-law Anna Mae Pinizzotto; brothers and sisters in law Rita Locher, June Arena, Diana and Adam Weigel, Joanna and Robert Watkins, Robert Erdley, and Patrick Gehret.

Teresa was a 1944 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School, where she was employed in the cafeteria until the age of 89. She loved to cook and bake, especially her Christmas cookies and special breads. She loved to play bingo and take bus trips to the casino. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Teresa was a life member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, formerly St. Anthony, where Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Rev. George Gulash. Friends received from 3-7 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Ave. Johnstown PA 15904. (Near PA Drivers Center and Armory). Private interment, St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
