Thomas Lee Cook, 83, of Johnstown, died on August 22, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born on December 30, 1937 in Johnstown, son of Dalvin Paul and Hazel (Smith) Cook.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dalvin Paul and Hazel (Smith) Cook, brothers Ronald and Robert Cook, Nephew David Cook, Brother-in-law Richard Jansen, and Sister-in-law Patricia Wickings.
Survived by wife Patricia (Jansen), children Cindy (John Hoffman) of Hooversville, PA, Pam (Devon Brendle), of Windber, PA, Jeff (Mary), of Port Republic, MD and Scott (Courtney) of Johnstown, PA; grandchildren Amanda (Chris Baran), Heather (Brandon Maxwell), Dylan, Jacob, Kierstyn, Nicholas, Noah and Nathan; great-grandchildren Ian, Loren, Breanna and Ainsley.
Tom graduated from Johnstown High School in 1956 and is a veteran who served with the Army National Guard. He was employed by Penn Printing, Johnstown, as a pressman for 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran and Clarington United Methodist Churches. Tom & Pat were avid square dancers and members of the All-American Swingers for 14 years. Tom was a devoted husband of 64 years, a beloved Grandfather and Great-grandfather who was lovingly called “Pap” and “Great Pappy”. He loved spending time with his family & friends, camping, and reading.
All services were held privately for the family.
