Thomas Anthony Ricci

Thomas A. Ricci Jr., "Tom", 84 of Johnstown, passed away March 5, 2025 in Johnstown. He was born June 29, 1940 in Johnstown, son of Tommaso and Amelia (Pedace) Ricci. 

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Paul of Johnstown; his daughter, Ann Marie married to Mike Giazzoni of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Michael and Mary Giazzoni.

Tom graduated from Greater Johnstown High School in 1960.  He served in the United States Marine Corp, and enlisted in the US Army Reserves. Tom had a 20 year career with the Johnstown Police Department. He was a member of the FOP, Sons of Italy, ISDA Lodge 1614, and the Abruzzi Club in Windber. He was a loving father and grandfather, and friend to all. 

Friends will be received from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. 15905. 

He was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, Fr. William Rosenbaum.

Private Interment at St. Bernard Cemetery in Indiana, PA.
