Vincent J. Falvo, 95, of Old Conemaugh Boro, Johnstown, died peacefully at home on March 31, 2026. He was born March 22,1931 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Angelo and Rosina (Aiello) Falvo.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Anthony and his sister, Angie Distefano.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Mary (Pinizzotto); his sons: Vincent A. and wife Jeanne (Trapanotto), Anthony J. and wife Deborah (Intihar), and Richard T.; his grandchildren: Bennett, Owen, Vincent Mario, and Francesca Falvo, and Ben Sakmar (wife Rose); his great granddaughter, Lainey Sakmar; and his many nieces and nephews.
Vincent was a 1951 graduate of Johnstown High School. He worked at the family Business.. Falvo's Italian Market. He retired from John Hancock Life Insurance Company after 25 years. He was a life long member and Financial Secretary of the Union Social Club, He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, and making homemade sausage. He was a loving Son, husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for a great sense of humor.
Friends will be received from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd Johnstown Pa 15905.
Funeral Mass to follow on Tuesday at 1:30 pm at St.John Gualbert Cathedral, Fr. Canice McMullen, OSB.
Interment at St Anthony Cemetery , Geistown, 15904.
