Obituary

William Ramirez, 100, passed peacefully with his loving and caring wife of 76 years at his side on June 24, 2022.

He is preceded by the passing of his parents, Blas and Juanita, brothers John and Nick, and sisters Carmen, Pascuala, Elvida, and Lola.

Surviving family members are his wife Mary (Alessandro), and children, William (Patricia), Larry (Eileen), Joseph (Veronica), Rose (Frank Riek), Anthony (Suzanne), and Ronald (Wendy), 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A proud US Navy veteran of WWII, William received the Purple Heart for his bravery in the Battle at Anzio.

He was employed as a crane operator for US Steel.

Dad enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his gardens, and following his Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family.
